To the 9th hee saith hee was to receive his freight at
haver de Grace upon deliverie of the said freight goods, and that
hee hath not as yet received any part of his freight, and that
Mr Godin was at haver de Grace to pay the said freight

Examined upon the foresaid allegation.

John Johnson Bleker of fflushing Mariner Boatswaine of the
said shipp the Elizabeth aged 47 yeares or thereabouts sworne
and examined.

To the first and 2 articles of the said allegation hee saith and deposeth that
the said vessell the Elizabeth at such time as shee went from fflushing
for Bayon the last voyage (wherein in her retourne from
Bayon shee was seized) carried in her from fflushing aforesaid a
parcell of Rie for the owners in Common, and a parcell of tobaccoe
for particular owners, and certaine chests of candles and other goods for
the master and some of the shipps companie, and that after the said
shipps arivall at Bayon the master John Noose there sold the foresaid
goods for the said accompts and for the same accompts invested the said
Rie in thirtie baggs (or thereabouts) of feathers, and the other exported
goods into 106 cakes of Rosin, 6 hogsheads of turpentine, 78 oares
57 peeces of box wood twelve bundles of corke, 48 jarrs of turpentine
oile and three sacks, for the proper accompt of the master and other
particular owners and of the shipps company, which shipps company had
interest alone in the Rosin, the rest of the goods belonging to the owners
of the shipp, And saith that all the said goods were bought and provided
by the master aforesaid, saving that the shipps company were parties
to and assisted in the buying of 20 cakes of the said Rosin.
All which hee knoweth being boatswaine of the said shipp and
seeing the said goods soe laden and being acquainted with the providinge
thereof. And otherwise hee cannot depose.

To the third article hee saith that the master and alsoe the
Stiersman tooke notice in writing of the goods laden aboard, but
in what manner or whether each tooke notice of all or not, hee saith
hee knoweth not. And otherwise hee cannot depose.

To the fourth hee saith that soone after the seizure of the Elizabeth
and lading by the Tyger frigot, there were taken and carried away
out of and from the Elizabeth the boate and foure oares belonging to
Elizabeth then worth tenn pounds sterling, and that two anchors weighing about 1500
pounds were forced to be slipt and left in the downes by Storme after and upon
the said seizure, and then the said anchors cost 15 gilders per hundred
alsoe two peeces of cables and two halsers weighing about
1800 pounds worth 15 gilders per hundred, and saith there were drunck
and eaten out of the saud shipp Elizabeth her provisions by the Tygers
companie wine, brandewine and victualls to the valew of seaven
pounds
