To the 15th hee saith hee this rendent is a Native of this City of
London, and hath no manner of interest in the silver now Claymed
And otherwise saving his foregoeing depositions negatively:-/
To the 16th hee saith hee knoweth nothing of the buying of the
peeces of 8/8. interrate, And otherwise saving his foregoeing deposition
hee cannot depose
To the 17th hee saith hee knoweth nothing thereof.
To the 18th hee saith hee cannot depose not being present at the lading
interrate.
To the 19th hee saith hee knoweth nothing thereof for the reason
aforesaid/
To the 20. and 21th hee saith hee knoweth not the Lawes or constitution
of the kingdome of Spaine concerning the transportation of silver
or bullion from thence this deponent having never bin in Spaine, And
therefore can give no satisfaction to the demands of theise Interrogatories.

Henry Gleade of Shadwell in the parish of
Stepney and Countie of Middlesex Chirurgion
aged 20. yeares or thereabouts a Wittnes sworne
and examined saith as followeth videlicet
To the 6. and 7th articles of the said Allegation hee saith and deposeth
That hee this deponent went and was Chirurgions mate aboard the
shipp the Thomas Bonadventure in and during the Voyage in Controversie, and
thereby knoweth, That the arlate Richard Chowne was one of the
ffactors of the arlate ffrederick, Chowne and others, and for and as such
was generally esteemed both at Scanderoone and Ciprus, at both which
places hee the said Chowne caused the said shipp Thomas Bonadventure
to be laden for and in the name of his said Principalls, And saith that
the said Richard Chewne having in part laden the said shipp at Scande
roon aforesaid dispatched the same from thence for Ciprus where
hee shortly after arrived himselfe in the dart friggot, and there mett
with the said shipp Thomas Bonadventure, there being at or neere the
time of his said arrivall an English Convoy there under the Commannd
of Captaine Bodiley, designed for the conduct and securing of English
shipps from those parts, And saith That the said Convoy went from
