Thomas Adams, a forty-three year old gentleman of Dartmouth in Devon, deposed in the High Court of Admiralty on November 26th 1653. He was examined on an allegation on the behalf of Martyn Nokell and the rest of the owners of the ship the ffaith. The case was that of "Martyn Nokele Michael Swellingraber and company owners of the shipp the ffaith of Stetteyn whereof Jacob HoXXX?ers is master against John Delabarr et cetera."[1]
