rate the same might here have bin then sold, which hee knoweth being
a packer and well acquainted with the nature and valew of such
commodities. And otherwise hee cannot depose saving hee the
better remembreth the foresaid particulars and time having (as hee
usually doth in the like cases) made an entrie thereof in his booke
which hee hath lately perused to the end to take notice thereof.

Examined upon the foresaid libell

Edward Dangerfeild of the parish of Allhallowes
Barking London waterman, aged 56 yeares or
thereabouts sworne and examined.
To the first second and third articles of the said libell hee
saith and deposeth that hee this deponent in or about the moneth of
October 1651 at the custome house London received of and from
Mr Jonathan Prickman of London merchant
three packs or bales of goods to be carried aboard the shipp the Queene
hester (whereof Adrian Gallison was master) and this deponent
accordingly carried the same in his boate aboard the said shipp
then lying at or neere Saint Catherins, and
delivered the same aboard the said shipp to be carried for Amsterdam
according to his directions received from the said Mr Prickman, And
saith hee well knoweth the producent david Otgar, and hath
within theise twenty yeares last carried many goods aboard shipp
for him, and thereby is well acquainted with his marke, which hee
saith is the same that is in the margent of the said allegation, And
therefore hee verily beleeveth that the
foresaid three bales soe by him carried aboard the Queene hester
were of the said marke. And further hee saith that at the same time
that this deponent carried the said three packs or bales of goods aboard
the Queene hester, one Robert Lewington a waterman carried other [?XXX GUTTER]
bales or packs of goods (received of the said Prickman) aboard another
shipp lying neere the Queene hester, and alsoe bound for Amsterdam
And otherwise ee cannot depose.
To the fifth hee cannot depose saving as aforesaid.
Upon the rest hee is not examined by the direction of the producent
