of the sayd ffare his weaknes and want of Judgment in knowing what
coaste or land the shipp was at ant tyme on) did aske the sayd ffaires
Judgment what coast they were then upon hee remembreth mot, And further
saith that it was generally observed by the sayd shipps company that the
sayd Richard ffare both outwards and homewards bound in the sayd voyage
tooke noe care him selfe to shape the sayd shipps course or keepeing
accompt what way shee made, which was one reasom (as this deponent
beleeveth) why upon all occasions hee knew not where or neere what
land the sayd shipp was And further saving his foregoeing deposition
hee cannot depose./
To the 10th hee saith that the sayd ffare his negligence and and unskilfulnes
to performe his office of pilott to the sayd shipp Gabriell in such manner as
hee ought was a cause that the sayd shipp was in many
dangers which if hee had binexoerienced as hee ought shee
neede not have bin exposed to, and also why shee lost much tyme
in the prosecution of her voyage to the great preiudice of the Owners
of her who were thereby damaged to the value (in this deponents
Judgment and estimate) of about forty pounds sterling in extraordinary
wages and victualls extraordinary spent and further to this article hee
hee cannot depose
To the 11th hee saith that saving his foregoeing deposition to which hee
referreth hee cannot more fully depose to this article./
To the 12th and 13th hee saith he ereferreth him selfe to his foregoeing
deposition and to the lawe and further cannot depose
To the 14th hee sayeth the sayd ffare is as hee beleeveth a subiect of
this Commonwealth and subiect to the Jurisdiction arlate And further
hee cannot depose
To the last hee saith his foregoeing deposition is true/
