I Hugh Wood of London Esquire
To be buried either in the parish church of Richmond in the County of Surrie or in the parish church of Saint Albans in Woodstreet at the discretion of my loving wife
Bequeaths lands and buildings in Richmond to his loving wife Martha
Also had land and tenements in County of Kent
Trustees George Smith & Paul Priaulx, his other two executors (in addition to his wife)
Divides his personal estate into three and gives one third to his wife Martha, one third to his children share and share alike, and disposes of the last third as the testators third
“my dwelling house in Richmond aforesaid”
My brother master Gabriel Wood of Shrewsbury
Giles Whittall to be assistant to Executor in gathering in the estate
My brother Sir Christopher Pack to take on the sole care & performance of my deceased ffather Edmonds will and imploy Giles Whittall to be assistant to him
Sonn Hugh Wood 2000 pounds
Son Symon Wood 750 pounds
Gives to Master George Smith and to master Paul Priaulx each of them 50 pounds
Rest and residue of the estate, after sale of the lands in Kent, give to each of my four younger children, ?Rhosinar, ?Lowie, John and Mary to be equally divided amongst them (all under age of 21)
