Examined upon an Allegation given in on the behalf
of the said Scutt and Company/

Edward Norris of Poole in the County of dorsett
Marriner aged 32 yeares or thereabouts a wiyttnes
sworne and Examined deposeth as afolloweth./
To the first article of the said allegation hee saith and
deposeth that for and dureing the time arlate the said George
Scutt the Elder George Scutt and Company were att and att this present
ought to bee the true and lawfull Owners, and Proprietors of the shipp the
Jane and Elizabeth of Poole arlate, and of her tackle apparell and furniture
And were and are comonly accompted and knowne to bee, whichj hee knoweth
for that hee this deponent was and went out in the said shipp one of her Company and was
quarter Master thereof And further hee cannot depose saveing hee so contyvnued
quartereur of and in the said shipp untill she was taken and seised as hereafter
is expressed./
To the 2d article of the said allegation he saith and deposeth that when the

send out and imploy the said shipp the Jane and Elizabeth arlate from the Port of
