IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN The seaventeenth day of September Anno Dom One thousand six hundred eighty foure And in the six and thirtyeth yeare of the reigne of our Sovereigne Lord Charles the second by the grace of God of England Scotland ffrance and Ireland Kingg Defender of the faith xr I S:r John Fredericke of London Kn:t being weake in body but praised be God of sound and perfect mind and memory make and ordaine this my last Wil and testament in manner following that is to say

FFIRST I commend my soule unto God who gave it and my body I commit to the Earth from whence it came to be decently interred at the discretion of my Executory hereafter named without any pompious funerall about nine of the clock at night that being the time I usually went to bed And I would not have any sermon preached at my funderall least more be said of me than I have deserved

And as concerning my worldly estate haveing already by deeds executed in my life time upon the late marryage of my sonne Thomas ffrederick XXX soe much thereof as consisted in Landes or Tenements of inheritance or in any Leases of Houses in London execept only a peice of grounds lying on the west side of my Mansion House in the old Jury London which I hold by Lease from the Mercers Company of London for the terme of fower score and eleaven yeares comencing from Midsummer On thousand six hundred sixty eight Now therefore as concerning the said peice of grounds and lease thereof

In as mich as I have XXXX thereon consisting of a parlour XXX XX two  chambers a Garrett over both the Chambers a yard and Vault underneath the yard and have constantly XXX with my Mansion House and desire that it should allwayes goe alonmg and be used and enjoyed therewith as my said Mansion House is setled by the said Marryage Deeds Andwhere as by the said marryage deeds XX said Mansion House is setled on my selfe during my naturall life and after my decease on Dame Mary ffrederick my Wife for her life and after her decease on my said sonne Thomas for his life and after his decease upon and under severall entailes with divers remainders XXXX Ma will therefore is that from and imediately after my decease my said Wife shall have and enjoy the said Lease and Leasehold Premises and the Tenements and Buildings erected therein with the appurtenances during all the said terme of fower and eleaven yeares then to come if she shall soe long live and if shee hall dye before the expiration of the said terme then my said sonne Thomas shall have and enjos the same for all the residue of the said terme if hee shall soe long live
