George Cobden (b. ca. 1602; d. ?). Mariner.
Late commander of the ship the James of London.
Evidence from High Court of Admiralty
Fifty-three year old George Cobden deposed on march 5th 1656 in the High Court of Admiralty. He was examined on interrogatories on behalf of London merchant Henry Clarke in the case "A business of Ensurance touching the losse of certayne goods and merchandizes laden a board the shipp James of London whereof George Cobden was late master".[1]
