aged 20ty yeares or thereaboutes a witnes
produced sworne and Examined deposeth as followeth
On the first article of the said allegation hee deposeth and saith that Edmond
hempson William Scotcher James warden, Valentine hudson and John Mortimer
arlate were commonly knowne reputed and taken to be masters and
owners of five severall hoys or vessells as is arlate dureing all thetyme
arlate, which this deponent knoweth having sayled any tyme these 3. monethes
last past with James Wardell one of the sayd masters arlate, and knoweing what
hee hath deposed to be true. And further cannot depose./
To the second article of the said allegation hee sith and deposeth that in or about
the 16th day of december last past, the alate hampson Scotcher wardell
