To the second hee saith hee hath knowne the interrate John Lyne since the
yeare 1649. and first came acquainted with him at the Bahia in Brazeele
And further knoweth not./

To the 3. hee saith hee was not present at nor saw any payments of moneys for
the goods interrate, but verily beleeveth the same were payd for out of such
monies as this rendents upon the occasion aforesaid preserved for the said
John Lynel; And further saving his foregoeing deposition hee cannot depose/:-

To the 4th hee saith hee hath knowne the interrate Ignatio da Costa for
about five yeares last past, and saith hee is a Native of Portugall andso
generally esteemed, and hath lived at the Bahia for all the time of this rendents
knowledge of him, And further saving his foregoeing deposition hee saith hee cannot
depose.

To the 5th hee referreth himselfe to his foregoeing deposition, And further cannot
depose./

Thomas Death of the parish of Saint Laurence
London Goldsmith aged 61 yeares or thereabouts a
Wittnes sworne and examined saith as followeth videlicet

To the 7th Article of the said Allegation hee saith and deposeth, That hee
this deponent after the lading of the goods now controverted at Cyprus came
a Passenger in an English shipp called the Mary Rose in Company with
the Thomas Bonadventure in question, and the Convoy arlate to Zant
but by what order the said shipp Thomas Bonadventure so came, or how shee
was designed this deponent knoweth not And saith the said shipp Thomas Bonadventure
being come to Zant and thence to Cephalonia, a quantity of Currance
were there received aboard the said shipp, but what quantity, by whose
order or for whose accompt this deponent saith hee knoweth not. And
