Master of the ship the Richard in 1667.

Resident in 1667 in Ratcliff Cross in the parish of Stepney.

Evidence from High Court of Admiralty

Thirty-one year old William Smith deposed on November 2nd 1667 in the High Court of Admiralty. He was examined on an allegation in the cause of "ffranciscus Eglesfeild Jacobus Whitehall et aly con navem [?XXXX] vol [?sup] voiataui The [?Mathew] ejucq et cetera et bona in eadem et con Ricardium Radley Thomam Deloe Jolien Sawyer et Rganam Sawyer mercatores civitatis London pro interresse et cetera".[1]
