Richard Keate (b.ca.1636; d.?). Mariner.

Evidence from High Court of Admiralty

Richard Keate, a twenty-one year old mariner of Saint Mary Overie in Southwark deposed on June 24th 1657 in the High Court of Admiralty. He was examined on an allegation on behalf of Godfrey and Company in the case of the "Lord Protector of the goods in the shipp the Hadarene taken by the Middleborough ffrigott, and Godfrey and others against the same."[1]
