1. as aforesayd XXXXXX to Nathalagoe and departed from Nathalagoe
2. Roade againe in the Cesar and went therein to Petras and left the sayd
3. Elizabeth and Anne remayning at Nathalagoe And further to these articles
4. hee cannot depose./

5. To the 36th article hee cannot depose./

6. To the 37th article of the sayd allegation hee saith hee knoweth that
7. the arlate Clement harbye did in the Roade of Nathalagoe deliver
8. her lading unto the arlate William ffudge (sealed up) two gropes or
9. baggs of money, and this deponent sawe the sayd ffudge take them
10. them and signe a bill of ladeing for the same, and saith the sayd ffudge
11. delivered the sayd two gropes to this deponent to keepe, and this
12. deponent did keepe them untill the sayd Harbie demanded them againe
13. and saith the sayd harbie did at Petrao demand of the sayd ffudge
14. the sayd two gropes, and this deponent by the sayd ffudges order
15. delivered them unto him the sayd harbie sealed up (in manner as
16. they were receaved from him) who put them up in this presence
17. in his the sayd harbies trunck ˹and gave the sayd ffudge a receipt for the same in presence of this deponent˺ And saith hee this deponent (being
18. the person intrusted by the say ffudge with his key of his Chest where
19. hee used to keepe such moneys as was committed to the care and charge of
20. him the sayd ffudge) knoweth not of any money delivered aboard the
21. Cesar by the arlate humphrey hardwick, and therefore verily
22. beleeveth thatin case any bill bee extant under the hand of the sayd
23. ffudge for two gropes of money, the same is for the sayd two gropes
24. soe delivered to him by the sayd harbie, this deponent knowing of
25. noe other money that was delivered to the trust and keeping of the sayd
26. ffudge save the sayd two gropes of money delivered by the sayd harbie
27. and the fower baggs of dollars predeposed of laden aboard the Cesar
28. at Genoa as aforesayd And further to this article hee cannot depose/

29. To the 38th article of the sayd allegation hee saith hee knoweth that there
30. was noe man XXXX ˹went˺ in the Cesar from nathalagoe to Petras but those
31. that belonged to and were of the sayd shipps Company XXX except the arlate
32. Clement harbie and the foresayd Marco the sayd William ffowkes servant
33. and one Aron Estes, which Aron Estes this deponent knoweth not by
34. whome hee was put aboard the Cesar, nor wherefore or upon what terms
35. or conditions hee went therein And further to this article hee
36. cannot depose./
