Transcription

the sylver and plate schedulat, that is to say of seven packes of sylver
conteyning thirty six peices of sylver weighing one hundred and seventy
four markes, one ounce, and 3/8 of an ounce more or lesse marked as in

[FIRST MARKE, LH MARGIN]

the margent and numbred and sealed, as in the margent of the bill of
lading for the same to the sayd allegation annexed, is expressed, which he knoweth
for that the sayd sylver was and is the proceed of the producents foods and
was bought and procured for his Accompt in the West Indies by this deponents
precontest John de Losa Barona with whose trade and dealing aswell for
himselfe as others, this deponent being his Companion in Travayle, and having
att his Request in the Indies taken extracts and memorials of the plate
and sylver he bought and procured there, is well acquainted. And saith
that the sayd Paulus Cobrisse in September and October 1652 was and now is likewise Owner of two small Chests of
white sugar marked with the second marke in the margent. and of

three tables of Indian wood with the appurtenances thereof being the sugars and tables schedulat which he
knoweth for that Nicholas Carasso dias a merchant of Cadiz and the
Producents Correspondent did send and present the sayd sugars and tables
as a gift token or present to the Producent within the tyme aforesaid. And
for and as lawfull Owner and Proprietor of the sayd sylver and goods the sayd
Producent was and is commonly accounted and reputed. And otherwise saving
his subsequent depositions he cannot depose:-
