  • Insert immediately after the sentence or phrase you wish to annotate the following macro:<ref>This is the footnote text</ref>
  • Replace 'This is the footnote text' with the footnote you wish to add, using the format: first name, surname, title, (place of publication, date of publication), page or folio number
  • Save the page

To the ninth hee answereth that hee doeth
not beleeve the same to bee true

To the 10th hee answereth and beleeveth that
ordinary sugar is worth at the Barbados
3 d per pound and doeth yeeld here att
London 6 d per pound and noe more as
hee beleeveth

To the 11th 12th and 13th hee answereth that
hee referreth himselfe to the Records
of this Courte and his former An=
swers which hee beleeveth to bee true And
otherwise hee doeth not beleeve the said
pretensed positions to bee true in any parte

and admitted against himm on the
behalfe of Humfry Hickman
as followeth videlicet

To the first hee answereth that hee
beleeveth the same to bee true/

To the second hee answereth that hee
referreth himselfe to his former Answer[?s]
to the Allegation given in this Court
on the behalfe of the said Hickman
which hee beleeveth to bee true And
