  • Replace 'This is the footnote text' with the footnote you wish to add, using the format: first name, surname, title, (place of publication, date of publication), page or folio number
  • Save the page

Transcription

of the ship arlate, and hee beleeveth that hee
this rendent went master of the ship arlate
and that hee did promise to doe his dutye as
master of the said ship, and that in the
voyage in question, one Robert Masters was
and did goe in the said ship by order of the
Guuiney Company arlate as cheife planter
and super Cargo of the goods and merchandize
of the Guiney Cmpany designed for
Santa Cruz and that one John Barker
did in the voyage in question goe in the ship
arlate as supervisor or supra Cargo for the said
John Wood for and concerninge such goods
wares and marchandizes designed for
Santa Cruz as particularly
concerned the said John Woods without
relation to the Guiney Company in Common,
and hee this rendent doth not beleeve
that hee was to erect the plantation arlate
otherwise then dureinge the time him should
stay at Santa Cruz, to give his advice
therein, the said Robert Masters beinge
appointed by the said Guiney Company to
that purpose concerninge the erecetion
of the said plantation, and hee this
rendent beleeveth that hee this rendent
was by agreement to receave of the
said Rowland Wilson John Woods
Thomas Walter and Companye 6 li
monthly for his pay for every moneth
