  • Insert immediately after the sentence or phrase you wish to annotate the following macro:<ref>This is the footnote text</ref>
  • Replace 'This is the footnote text' with the footnote you wish to add, using the format: first name, surname, title, (place of publication, date of publication), page or folio number
  • Save the page

The personall answers of Robert
Bagnoll made to the positions of an
allegation given in againt him on
the behalfe of William Stephens
doe followe.

To the first pretended position hee
answereth and beleeveth that the shippe
the Constant was built twelve or thirteene
yeares agoe as this rendent hath heard
And otherwise for his parte hee doth not
beleeve the said position to be true in
any parte thereof.

To the second pretended position hee
answereth that for his parte hee doth not
beleeve the said position to bee true in
any parte thereof.

To the third pretended position hee
answereth that for his parte hee doth
not beleeve the said position to bee true in
any parte thereof.

To the fourth pretensed position hee
answereth hat for his parte hee doth not
beleeve the said position to bee true in any
parte thereof.

To the 5.th pretended position hee answereth
and accepteth the contents of this position soe
farr as the same doe make for him and not
otherwise and beleeveth that the yeares 1645.
1646. and 1647 the arlate ffletcher did goe in
and
