Biographical synthesis

Edward Watts (b. ca. 1624; d. ?). Merchant.

Resident in London in 1657.

May be the Edward Watts, London merchant, named as one of three executors by James Stanier in his last will and testament, written in 1660.[1]

Evidence from High Court of Admiralty

Thirty-four year old Edward Watts deposed on April 21st 1657 in the High Court of Admiralty, He was examined on an allegation on behalf of Mr Cowse in the case of "Cowse against Keene".[2]
