I have just finished my BA in History (First class) at the University of Oxford (Mansfield College) and for the 2012-13 academic year I will be taking an AHRC funded MA in Eighteenth-Century studies at Kings College London.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
My interest is primarily in Britain during the long eighteenth century although I also have an interest in early modern history more broadly.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I came to the MarineLives project because of its commitment to a freely available digital edition, the like of which I have always found so helpful before in my work.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
