William Kennon (b. ca. 1611; d. ?ca.1679). Haberdasher and citizen of London.

Resident in the parish of Saint Catherine Coleman "in ffanchurchstreete" in 1655.

==Evidence from High Court of Admiralty==
Forty-four year old William Kennon deposed on January 9th 1655 in the High Court of Admiralty. He was examined on an allegation on behalf of Alderman ffrederick and company in the case of "Alderman ffrederick and company against Jennings and others".<ref>[[HCA 13/70 f.68r Annotate|HCA 13/70 f.68r]]</ref>

Kennon was examined on just one article in the allegation, which concerned the price of Cyprus cotton wooll. Kennon stated that in and since September 1654 Cyprus cotton woolls "have bin sold here in London at 9 ''d'' sterling and 10 ''d'' per pound and not above. He stated that he "as a merchant useth to deale in that commoditie, and hath bought and sold thereof in that space, and that in that space namely in or about October last hee this deponent bought of that commoditie at 9 ''d'' sterling per pound and about the end of that moneth sold the same againe at 10 ''d'' per pound as being the heighth of the market for the same."<ref>[[HCA 13/70 f.68r Annotate|HCA 13/70 f.68r]]</ref>
