William Chambers (b. ca. 1611; d. ?). Mariner.

Gunner of the ship the 250 ton burthen ''Bantam ffrigott'' (Master: Isaac Taylor) on a voyage to Bantam in the East Indies from October 1656. reaching the island of Indra Ponza on the coast of Sumatra on August 10th 1657.<ref>[[HCA 13/73 f.270v Annotate|HCA 13/73 f.270v]]</ref> The ship was, however, forbiden by the Dutch from entering Bantam. She returned to Legorne with a partial lading of pepper, arriving there in August 1658.<ref>[[HCA 13/73 f.272r Annotate|HCA 13/73 f.272r]]</ref>

Resident in 1659 in Ratcliff in the parish of Stepney.
