==Evidence from High Court of Admiralty==<br />
Forty year old Thomas Hall deposed on January 26th 1655 in the High Court of Admiralty. He was examined on a libel on the behalf of Anthony Tether in the case of "Anthony Tether against the shipp ''Julian'' whereof Richard Bryan was Master and against the said Richard Bryan and others".<ref>[[HCA 13/70 f.215v Annotate|HCA 13/70 f.215v]]</ref><br />

The same Thomas Hall deposed a year and eleven months later on December 22nd 1656, giving his age still as forty, and describing himself as a "Copprisse-man" resident in the parish of Saint Pancras Soper Lane.
