Samuell Lanson (al. Samuel Lanson) (b. ca. 1608; d. ?). Mariner.

Master's mate and pilot of the ship the ''John and Elizabeth'' (Master: Edward Keene).

"Went masters mate and pilott of her in the voiage in controversie being designed for Palma one of the Canarie Islands".<ref>[[HCA 13/70 f.335v Annotate|HCA 13/70 f.335v]]</ref>

Resident in 1655 in the parish of Saint Catherines near the Tower.

==Evidence from High Court of Admiralty==
Forty-seven year old Samuell Lanson deposed on June 20th 1655 in the High Court of Admiralty. He was examined on an allegation on behalf of James Cowse in the cause of "James Cowse of London merchant against the vessell the ''John and Elizabeth'' of which Edward keene is Master} and against the said Edward Keene".<ref>[[HCA 13/70 f.335v Annotate|HCA 13/70 f.335v]]</ref>
