Richard Nash (b. ca. 1632; d. ?ca. 1663). Mariner.

Resident in 1655 in the parish of Allhallowes Barking, and possibly at possible death in 1663.

A will was proved on February 5th 1663 for a Richard Nash, mariner of Allhallows Barking.<ref>PROB 11/310/177 Will of Richard Nash, Mariner of All Hallows Barking, City of London 05 February 1663</ref>

==Evidence from High Court of Admiralty==
Twenty-three year old Richard Nash deposed on December 2nd 1655 in the High Court of Admiralty.<ref>[[HCA 13/70 f.663r Annotate|HCA 13/70 f.663r]]</ref> He was examined on an allegation in "A busines of examination of wittnesses on the part and behalfe of James ffordham and Company owners of the shipp the ''Sarah'' and her tackle apparrell and furniture seized in the port of Dunquirke with her ladeing against all who take upon them to iustifie the sayd seizure".<ref>[[HCA 13/70 f.662r Annotate|HCA 13/70 f.662r]]</ref>

Richard Nash stated that he had been a member of the company of the ship the ''Sarah'' in September and October 1655 when she lay at Dunkirk. The ship had been ready to sail from Dunkirk to London when she was seized by the officers of the governor of Dunkirk on the order of the King of Spain.<ref>[[HCA 13/70 f.663r Annotate|HCA 13/70 f.663r]]</ref>
