Resident in 1655 in Horsey downe in the county of Surrey.

==Evidence from High Court of Admiralty==
Fifty year old Nicolas ffarr deposed on May 14th 1655 in the High Court of Admiralty. He was examined on a libel in the case of "William Hiscock and Partners against a certaine shipp called the ''Edward'' whereof William Wood was Master and against Alderman Andrew Riccard and Companie."<ref>[[HCA 13/70 f.359r Annotate|HCA 13/70 f.359r]]</ref>

Nicholas ffarr stated that sometime in the years 1647, 1648 or 1649 he was employed along with others to bring a lighter with 33 tuns of beer from the crane or wharf of Mr Hiscocks to the ship the ''Edward''.</ref>[[HCA 13/70 f.359v Annotate|HCA 13/70 f.359v]]</ref>
